    If the stars are aligned, I will have you secure your space in the Pope Joan Design Studio queue by submitting a 50% non-refundable deposit and signing a proposal and a subsequent contract. All proposals, contracts and invoices are sent via Bonsai.

    Please note the studio takes on a limited number of clients a month to give each project the attention it deserves.

  • The studio business hours are Monday through Thursday from 9.00 am–3.00 pm.

    Please note that all response times exclude Fridays, weekends, evenings, and national holidays.

    - If you are a current client, you are my top priority so please expect a reply within 24 hours.

    - If you are inquiring about working together for the first time or a returning client, I can’t wait to learn more about you and your project. You can expect a reply from me within 48 hours.

    - If you are just reaching out, I really appreciate you taking the time to get in touch. At this time, I’m giving my full attention to my clients and can’t guarantee I’ll reply to as quickly as I would like. But, your communication is important to me and I will be sure to reply as soon as I am able.

  • Security

    All invoices are sent via Bonsai so payment can be entered easily, quickly and securely online.

    Timeline

    I split the payment for the Brand Identity Package into two parts—

    1. The first 50% of the project payment is a non-refundable deposit due at the time of signing the contract which is also through Bonsai as a guarantee of a specific space on my calendar.

    Projects can be booked weeks, even months, in advance—so backing out leaves a space that could have been given and secured to another client. Deposits ensure that you are serious about working together.

    Once payment is made, the project will begin on a clearly-stated and agreed-upon start date in the already-sent proposal and contract.

    2. The remaining 50% is due upon invoicing.

    This final invoice will be sent once all final design elements are approved, the project is complete and payment is sent before final files are delivered to you and/or your website is launched, etc.

    If the final invoice is unpaid upon receipt, a non-compounding late fee of 5% accrues monthly on the outstanding amount.

    All other services are discussed on a case-by-case basis due to the scope.

    Payment Types

    All payments are processed through the Bonsai invoices sent, and you can pay via Stripe or PayPal. Stripe and PayPal accept all major credit cards, and you don't need to own a Stripe or PayPal account.

  • Pope Joan will deliver all digital, comprehensive, high-quality, production-ready, downloadable files.

    The studio will send vector and raster files.

    - Vector files (.ai and .eps) can be scaled up and down drastically without losing the integrity of the image and are used for print.

    - Raster files (.jpg and .png ) are typically used more often for detailed graphics and photographs and are measured in DPI (dots per inch).

    Because these files are on a pixel grid, they can look wonky when changing the image size.

    - The files will be in color, black, and white.
