The Clever Crust Co. is a one-woman pie company that takes fruit from the orchard to the oven and onto your plate.

A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America who studied under Anne Willan, the doyenne of La Varenne, the influential culinary school in Paris and Burgundy, France, Christy uses local fruit at peak season and she bakes it into cleverly crusted and adorable pies.

STRATEGY

Incorporate the three Cs into the pie logo while ensuring the crust resembles a traditional French tarte crust, reflecting Christy Tenhaeff’s time studying in France. Additionally, use the colors from Christy’s pie photographs as the primary color palette.
